Jakarta has a Grand Hyatt and two ultra-luxury Ritz Carlton hotels with the world’s largest standard room size (at 63 & 73 m2) as well as other five star properties. Within the Grand Indonesia Mall area, the largest upmarket shopping complex in Southeast Asia (measuring 640,000 m²) is  the historic Hotel Indonesia-Kempinski.  The Grand Hyatt is just across the street in its own upscale shopping mall, Plaza Indonesia.. If proximity to airport is what you need, there is a Sheraton on the airport grounds and another hotel inside the International Terminal as well as other hotels in North Jakarta near the end of the airport toll road.
